About Kashan Rugs
Kashan rugs are among the most esteemed Persian weavings, historically favored by nobility for their elegance and technical mastery. Located along the former Silk Road, Kashan developed a strong tradition of producing luxurious silk and wool carpets with deeply intricate floral and medallion designs. High knot densities are common in Kashan rugs, with many silk examples surpassing 300 KPSI, making them prized for both visual beauty and structural refinement. Their classical motifs and enduring craftsmanship have made Kashan rugs a timeless fixture in fine interiors around the world.
