The Royal Hunt Tapestry by Marc Waymel created exclusivley for the Franklin Mint 1984. Excellent condition . Length:-approx. 47 inches. Width: approx 37 inches. Beautiful 1984 Royal Hunt Tapestry sold exclusively by The Franklin Mint. It is a contemporary masterpiece created in the tradition of the shilled Renassance weavers of cotton and wool fabric. Depicting The Royal Hunt, it captures the splendor and romance of the regal pastime of patrician ladies and aristocratic gentlemen of the 16th century. The Royal Hunt Tapestry, with it's carefully blended antique colors, portrays royal lords and ladies elaborately costumed in height of Medieval fashion, with falcons, noble steeds and hounds ready for the chasing in the distance, a magnificently detailed castle. An original work on the grand scale of tapestries of the Renaissance. The tapestry is created from both weft of wool and warp of wool a material which accepts and holds natural dyes particularly well, retains its beauty through many lifetimes providing a luxurious nap and texture . The weave is carried out on vintage French Jacquard looms , permitting hand crafted characteristic not possible on more modern machines.

We gladly accept returns and exchanges and have a no-hassle return policy. The customer should contact us within 14 days of delivery in order to begin processing the return. Upon receiving the rug we will refund your original form of payment. While we provide free shipping to the Continental US when sending out the rug, the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. For international purchases, we will not be able to accept returns.
