Wonderful Persian Tabriz Rug 3x5, Tree of Life, Animal Pictorials, Birds, Wool & Silk Highlights, Fine 330 KPSI
About this Tabriz Rug
This finely woven Persian Tabriz rug measures 3'3" x 5' and showcases an elegant Tree of Life composition brought to life with a profusion of birds, deer, and other animal pictorials. The detailed symmetry of its branching motifs, framed by a lush floral border, speaks to the high technical skill involved—reflected in its impressive 330 KPSI knot density. Delicate silk highlights enhance the visual texture across the soft, mint-toned field, adding a gentle shimmer that changes with the light. A piece like this works beautifully as a decorative focal point or as a refined accent in a personal study or reading nook.
About Tabriz Rugs
Tabriz rugs are among the most revered in the Persian weaving tradition, known for their precision, high knot counts, and versatility in design. Located in northwestern Iran, Tabriz has long been a center of fine carpet production, often featuring classical medallions, garden scenes, or elaborate pictorial narratives. Weavers from this region are celebrated for their ability to translate complex motifs—like the Tree of Life—into tightly rendered compositions with extraordinary detail. Many Tabriz rugs incorporate silk to highlight patterns and elevate the sense of depth and luxury in the design.
